Qatar

           

Ruled by the Al Thani family since the mid-1800 s,Qatar transformed itself from a poor British protectorate noted mainly for pearling into an independent state with significant oil and natural gas revenues.Qataris located on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula, bordering Saudi Arabia.

 Rightly called the heart of Gulf,Qataris a land that is situated in the most attractive region of the world.

 Qatar houses major historic forts, modern luxury hotels, impressive seascapes and sandunes and is home to the Al Jazeera headquarters, the Arab world’s answer to CNN.

 After Dubai,Qataris currently the most happening place in the Gulf. Since the emirate is hosting the Asian Games – a branch of the Olympics – in 2006, infrastructure and buildings are going up at a speed that warrants two visits just six months apart, simply to be able to appreciate the changes that can take place in such short a time.

Al Khor

It is known to be a serene destination in Qatar. If you want to make an escape far from the maddening crowd, then this is the place to be. The natural beauty is sure to delight your sense of sight to an extreme. The pleasant view of numerous watchtowers sited at a short proximity from the Corniche is another delight in itself.

 




Doha

Doha is the capital city of Qatar; It is located in the Ad Dawhah municipality on the Persian Gulf. The city also enjoys an enviable location overlooking the Arabian Gulf. Doha is Qatar's largest city, with over 80% of the nation's population residing in Doha or its surrounding suburbs, and is the economic center of the country.Doha is home to the Education City, an area devoted to research and education.

The Doha Corniche is a popular tourist attraction in Doha for both visitors to the country and the locals.  It is a waterfront promenade that extends for a few kilometers along the Doha Bay in the capital city of Doha.

 

Dukhan

Located on the west coast of the peninsula, is 84 kms from Doha. It became popular when people discovered oil in the surrounding area. The town is well-known for its fine beaches.

 




Al Zubra Fort

Zubara Fort is an ancient looking building that was actually built in 1938 on the remains of an older castle. Until 1980s it served as a station for coast guards. In 1987 it became a museum which houses exhibitions of pottery, coins and other findings from the nearby archeological site of Al-Zubarah town.

 



Kingdom of Aladdin

The Kingdom of Aladdin that is situated in the West Bay area and has more than eighteen play facilities. With a lagoon created artificially and a comfortable cafeteria and rest house, this is the place that is thronged by all the families with kids and they love the recreation facilities here and enjoy to their fullest.
